Having studied sport Psychology myself and making my clients set clear and achievable goals and seeing how it helps I highly Recommend that you yourself try goal setting.
At the bottom of this article I’ve attached two pdfs that will help you with this task and lay out exactly what you need to do.
Firstly you need to make sure your goals are challenging but not impossible. There is no point setting goals that are far to easy or your motivation to achieve them wont be strong enough, but likewise do not set goals that are impossible or you will just get disheartened and give up.
Remember almost nothing is impossible what makes it impossible or not is the time frame you set yourself to achieve theses goals. So remember set out your goals so they are challenging to drive you on.
Also it’s important to keep in mind that you deserve what you want, don’t feel guilty about anything and don’t take the attitude of “well I could never achieve that” YOU can and DESERVE to achieve anything you desire!
