When your goal in the gym is to lose weight then you want to make the most of time and you want to know what are the best Fat Burning Exercises. There’s no point standing around doing bicep curls with the 3kg dumbbells, you need to be moving more than one joint at a time my friend. Single joint exercises like dumbbell biceps curls just do not use enough calories or produce enough of a hormonal response.
So what do I need? you ask, multi joint compound exercises. These as you will see are much more taxing and if you’re doing them right will get you out of breath, i’ll get to a list of these in just one moment but hold on for a second I haven’t finished explaining why these are so important.
The main reason is that as you will be using multiple joints and therefore multiple muscle groups you will be burning a hell of a lot more calories.
Also these exercises will create a greater EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption) which in terms you’ll understand means that these exercises create a greater demand for recovery after your workout which in terms of calories basically means it takes more to recover from a workout containing multi joint exercises, so you’ll burn more calories while doing nothing!
